Mr. Mohammad Alamgir was born on 10 December 1977 in the house of Mohchen Ali of Dongra village of Banskhali upazila of Chittagong district. His father is Farid Ahmmed and his mother is Amena Begum. He completed his primary education at Madhya Dongra Government Primary School near home. He passed SSC in 1993 from Paschim Banshkhali High School and HSC in 1995 from Chittagong Government Commerce College. After that he was admitted to Chittagong University's Accounting Department. He obtained B.B.A. (H) and M.B.A degrees from this department. After passing the competitive examination conducted by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), he received a recommendation for appointment in the Department of Social Services under the Ministry of Social Welfare. On 20th July 2005, she started his career by joining the post of Deputy Superintendent in Government Children's Home (Girls), Charnoabad, Bhola. After that from 08/08/2012 to 01/02/2017 as Social Service Officer at Hospital Social Service Office, Chittagong Eye Hospital and Training Centre, Pahartali, Chittagong and also serving as Upazila Social Service Officer at Upazila Social Service Office, Sitakunda, Chittagong. From 02/02/2017 to 20/07/2017 Upazila Social Service Office, Lohagara, Chittagong and from 20/07/2017 to 19/05/2019 Upazila Social Service Office, Banshkhali, Chittagong was working as Upazila Social Service Officer. From 19th May 2019 to 31st July 2022, the post of Deputy Superintendent of Government Children's Family (Boys), Farhadabad, Hathazari, Chittagong and concurrently as Deputy Superintendent of Safe Home for Women and Child- Adolescent Custodians, Farhadabad, Hathazari, Chittagong. He also performed the duties of the post. On 1st August 2022, he joined the post of Social Service Officer of Urban Social Service Office-2, Chittagong. During his career he participated in various trainings, meetings, seminars and workshops. In personal life he is married. His wife Umme Kulsum Josna is working as Assistant Teacher in Posterpar Achma Khatun Government Primary School, Doublemooring, Chittagong. They have three daughters named Aliya Farzeen Arisha, Albina Farzeen Ariba and Afra Farzeen Adiba.
