Skill development training


Skill development training centers are being successfully conducted in 23 trades in 80 city social service offices under the Department of Social Services to implement the government's vision 2021 and 2041 for the development of human resources and creation of skilled public resources. 80 centers admit trainees in January-June and July-December sessions. Various activities including online admission programs are being implemented in skills.gov.bd/dss and dsssdtms.gov.bd software with the aim of becoming a partner in the construction of digital Bangladesh announced by the government by bringing the training programs of the entire country on an integrated platform and providing the desired services. 360 hours training is being provided in these trades to the unemployed youth living in the city along with the orphans of government children families managed by the Department of Social Services, orphans of private orphanages/children's homes, university/college students coming for higher education in the city, disabled persons, Bede, Hijras and backward communities. . Apart from this, in the past, through the A2I program managed by the Prime Minister's office, the present ICT department has selected the skill development training centers run by the city social service offices in an effort to train the students, imams, and muezzins of Qaumi Madrasas through skill development training and bring them back to the mainstream of the society, which has expanded this program a step further. .


Purpose-


(1) Creation of appropriate employment opportunities by providing appropriate skill development training to the youth to ensure sustainable economic growth;


(2) institutional training aimed at engaging the country's youth in suitable occupations; And


(3) Creating young entrepreneurs.
